The Instructor: Marcia Shell, PMP, RYT-200

My name is Marcia Shell and my motto is "be brave, be bold and believe!"

I'm an Army veteran who was introducted to yoga in 2014. I was so humbled and inspired by the benefits of the practice that in 2018 I became a certified Warrior at Ease yoga teacher and a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200).

My passion is to teach private or small groups where I can promote overall wellness (mind-body-spirit), self-compassion, gratitude and self-acceptance. I combine the practices of Intentional Breath Work (Pranayama) with Flow, Alignment and Restorative (Asana) yoga postures to foster an organic mind-body connection. I encourage students to embrace yoga (Your Own Gifted Ability) and follow their individual path to self-empowerment through breath and Mindful Moving Meditation (M3) techniques.

As a mindful yoga professional my speciality is a Refresh and Restore style of yoga to improve overall health and bring the body into balance. My practices are designed to nourish your mind and body, improve energy levels and foster the "rest and digest" nervous system response, foundational for healing and for reducing pain.

My ABC's for yoga are: (A) arrive with an open mind and let gratitude determine your altitude; (B) for breath, your vital life force; and (C) for compassion, be kind to yourself, honor your body, every day is different.
